For the Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 2 thsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Instructions
 

Prepare the Cheese Sticks

  • Cut the pepper jack cheese block into cheese stick-sized pieces.
  • Wrap each cheese stick tightly with a strip of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
  • Place the wrapped cheese sticks on a pan lined with foil or parchment paper and freeze overnight.

Frying the Cheese Sticks

  • Heat oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pan.
  • Fry the frozen bacon-wrapped cheese sticks until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from oil and discard the toothpicks.

Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix together apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
  • Brush or toss the hot bacon-wrapped cheese sticks with the sauce before serving.
